Hi! My name is Ngân Huỳnh [ng-uhn][hwin] and I’m a Vietnamese illustrator, designer, and children’s book author based in Minneapolis. My love of mythology, fairy tales, and family storytelling inspired me to turn everyday moments into captivating narratives.

I have created brand identities, websites, and illustrations for various publications, including the literary zine Paranoid Tree Issue 26 and the Amazon bestseller Blue Marble Review: Anthology Volume 2. In addition to freelance design work, I’m the in-house Marketing & Arts Associate at the Asian Economic Development Association. I’m also a design assistant at Wise Ink Publishing.

When We're Under the Same Roof is my first children's book, inspired by my childhood and Vietnamese culture. I am an alum of the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD).

Illustration, Design, and Storytelling

An example of such a project was the Forecast Public Art Utility Boxes Redesign, in which I designed and illustrated four unique artworks celebrating Southeast Asian culture that serve as utility box wraps in downtown St. Paul.
